Jesinta and Buddy shut down split talk with Brownlow PDA

Earlier this month the tabloids were awash with reports that Jesinta Campbell and Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin had called it quits.

According to Woman’s Day, the couple had ‘secretly split’ but were holding off on publicising the news until after the Grand Final.

But it certainly didn't look that way when the couple rocked up to a Brownlow Awards function at Sydney's SCG this evening!

Indeed, with their arms wrapped around each other and beaming from ear-to-ear, both looked stoked to be there.

The reports claimed that it was Jesinta who wanted out because of Buddy’s reputation as a ladies’ man.

What's more, speculation that they are planning to elope later in the year is also untrue, according to Woman's Day.

“They will never marry, let’s put it that way,” a friend told Woman’s Day.

Back in July Jesinta squashed pregnancy rumours, saying her apparent 'baby bump' was in fact just a "baggy t-shirt."

"It's a really sensitive question for women - that's why I would never ask a woman about it because you never know what is happening," she told Fairfax media at the time.
