The Bachelorette's Rhys Chilton's wife spills about their 'toxic' marriage

Despite trying to win the heart of Georgia Love on The Bachelorette, we were shocked to hear earlier this week that Rhys Chilton was actually married!

And now Rhys' U.S based ex-partner Kelsi has spilled the details of their "toxic" marriage and revealed some of the shocking comments he made to her.

According to OK! Magazine, Kelsi has even issued a warming about Rhys to Georgia! This isn't sounds good!

Kelsi told the publication that Rhys would often belittle her, calling her "fat" and telling her "you won't amount to anything", while adding that "made her feel miserable" and that he is "selfish".

She also shared text messages from Rhys with the publication, which read: "In case u are too stupid...Pay ur debts you f***ing retard (sic)."

Despite their "turbulent" relationship, Rhys only filed for divorce this year, with his soon-to-be ex wife adding she had "no clue" he would be appearing on The Bachelorette.

"He only cares about himself… and should not be dating that beautiful girl Georgia [Love]," Kelsi told the magazine.

After the reports broke that he was still married, Rhys told Daily Mail Australia he and Kelsi separated two years ago after their marriage failed to work, while saying their divorce is still yet to be finalised.

"Coming on the show has been my way of getting back into dating," he said via a statement.

"I have explained my situation to Georgia for being here and she understands my reasons."
