Who could forget when a 24-year-old Britney Spears spiraled out of control after her divorce from Kevin Federline in 2006?
The pop star shaved her head, "abused drugs," according to legal documents, and hit a car with an umbrella before going briefly to rehab to clean up her act.
Now 34, Britney is back and she's loving life more than ever.
"My twenties were horrible," the singer revealed in an interview on Lorraine Kelly.
"I like my thirties way more than my twenties," the Toxic hitmaker said, hinting to those tremulous years.
But the Las Vegas performer admitted to interviewer Dan Wootton that she is now in a great place despite those rocky times.
“My teens was fun, but I like my thirties, thirties is great,” the Mississippi-born blonde said.
At 22, Britney had a shotgun Vegas wedding with childhood sweetheart, Jason Alexander, but 55 hours later they called it off.
That same year she fell in love with her backup dancer Kevin, but two years on their marriage fell apart and Britney’s life began to crumble.
The following year after her head-shaving incident, Britney lost full custody rights of her two sons, Sean 11, and Jayden, 10, to Kevin, which was devastating for the poor mum.
Now back with her kids and living the high life in Vegas, the strong single mum says she's happier than she’s ever been.
“I'm in a really good place right now, loving and learning myself. Every day I'm learning who I am, it's awakening, it's cool. It's okay to be single, it totally is,” she said.
