WATCH: Ellie goes bright red over Prince Harry bub question

She's made constant headlines about her friendship with Prince Harry and now Ellie Goulding has squirmed after she was asked if she was carrying the British Royal's baby.

Appearing on The Project the 29-year-old went bright red when host Carrie Bickmore asked if we could expect a baby from Ellie and the Prince.

"Please don't let me go red," Ellie said as she fanned her face jokingly.

"I'm bright red. Why did I have a feeling that was going to come up? You naughty people," she then added.

Carrie's baby questioning comes after reports Ellie and Prince Harry had been exchanging a series of text messages earlier this year.

In June the pair had been spotted chatting and flirting in during a post-polo party. Ellie even sang at Harry's 30th birthday party at the request of the Duchess of Cambridge!

"They’ve always got on very well, but things stepped up a gear recently," a source said at the time of their flirty polo exchange.

"There was a complete ban on taking pictures at the polo party so that Harry and the other celebrities there could feel comfortable. Harry and Ellie only had eyes for each other all night - they spent a lot of time sitting together under blankets."

"They were seen having a kiss before Harry had to go because he was playing polo the next day. Ellie left about five minutes later," the source added.

Ellie also performed at the 2014 closing ceremony of Invictus Games as a favour to Prince Harry, and was seen "embracing warmly" after her performance.
