Kim Kardashian returns to social media

Kim Kardashian has been radio silent since she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris nearly two weeks ago.

But now, the 35-year-old has returned to social media - to do a massive cull of her Twitter account.

According to The Sun, Kim unfollowed a number of people on Twitter, but she is yet to break her silence on the platform.

Her sister, Khloe Kardashian, made her first TV appearance since Kim's terrifying ordeal, and told Ellen DeGeneres that Kim was still shaken up by the robbery.

"She's not doing that well," she said. "I mean, it's incredibly traumatic what happened to her, but our family is super close and great and we'll get through it together and we do appreciate all of your guys' love and support, and it will take time. You know, it was horrible what happened to her."

Khloe also revealed that the family were going to change their social media strategy because of what happened.

"I think it's just a wake up call to make a lot of life adjustments," she spilled.

"This is a really serious matter for Kim. I think that's really personal as to when that emotional terror, you could move on from that. I think for us, it's all a wake up call for all of us, but definitely just to make sure our sister is okay."

But it looks like Kim can finally celebrate some good news - the police recently uncovered a breakthrough in the case.

Investigators found DNA evidence and various clues scattered around the apartment which the Associated Foreign Press have hailed as the biggest lead yet.

French prosecutors have also officially opened an investigation into the robbery.

Here's hoping this is what it takes to track down the criminals.
