Brad's ex assistant breaks silence over affair rumours

Who could forget in 2011 when Brad Pitt was romantically linked to his pretty assistant Lara Marsden?

Pictures of the pair acting very cosy on the set of World War Z were leaked and they allegedly drove Angelina Jolie crazy with jealousy at the time.

"Lara was the opposite of uptight Ange, and Brad fell for her hard," a source told New Idea.

"She was a reminder of everything that Brad was missing in life."

They added: "Ange was always jealous of Lara. She was always suspicious that there was something going on between Brad and Lara."

And now, just weeks after Brad and Angelina announced they were heading for divorce, Lara has broken her silence to deny she had any part in their split.

"I know Brad and Angelina are the biggest thing - but I'm not," she told the magazine. "I'm nothing to do with it."

The 30-year-old shunned Hollywood after she was unexpectedly thrown into the spotlight during her time on World War Z. She now works as a video-editing specialist in the UK.

"I've changed my name and I'm married now," she revealed of her new life.

Last week it was reported that Brad was reunited with some of his children for the first time since news broke he was to divorce Angelina.

Brangelina were together for 12 years, and married for two, after meeting on the set of Mr & Mrs Smith.

They have six children together: Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, eight.
