Sydney Swan's co-captain Kieren Jack and long-term partner Charlotte Goodlet have announced their engagement, sharing the happy news on social media.
Both Kieren and Charlotte shared photos to Instagram on Monday, with the TV producer showing off her impressive diamond ring!
"I'm so excited to spend the rest of my life with you and our sad looking dog. I love you so, so much @kjack_15 #engaged," Charlotte wrote alongside a photo of her and Kieren with the couple's British Bulldog Nelson.
Meanwhile the AFL star also shared a photo shortly after the proposal writing, "The emotional moment very shortly after...thank you @charlottegoodlet my love for you is never ending. Job well done @nelsonthebulldog15 #engaged."
Awww, so cute! Congratulations Kieren and Charlotte!
The couple's happy news comes after a bitter family feud between Kieren and his parents was made public earlier this year.
According to The Daily Telegraph, the issues began due to Kieren's relationship with Charlotte, with the athlete's mother Donna taking to Twitter to express her disappointment that she and Kieren's father, former Rugby League star Garry Jack, were banned from attending his milestone 200th game.
"So sad ... you 200 AFL & you don't want us there, your parents. No appreciation for all the yrs helping you get there," Donna wrote in a tweet that was later deleted.
The family drama is thought to have started in 2014 after Donna and Garry weren't offered club-issued flights and accommodation for that year's AFL grand final.
Instead, Kieren opted to give the tickets to Charlotte and her parents.
Kieren has stood by Charlotte throughout the public and messy feud telling reporters earlier this year, "My priorities of support are firmly with my partner and my little brother who I love and care for very much."
"It's been tough on her. She doesn't deserve the treatment she has received. She is strong... she is an independent woman," he added.
