'Don't kill me': Kim's screams as robbers dragged her out of bed during Paris heist

The concierge who was held at gunpoint during Kim Kardashian's terrifying $11 million robbery has broken his silence, admitting he let the thieves into her luxury apartment and acted as an interpreter for the gang.

The 39-year-old Algerian, identified only as Abdulrahman because he's 'too traumatised' to use his full name, reveals Kim's sheer horror as she realised her room was being broken into, and how he tried to comfort her with soothing words as the crooks dragged her from her bed screaming.

"She was crying, she was screaming, saying, 'don’t kill me, I have babies, don’t kill me, please, I have babies! I’m a mom! Take whatever you want!'” recalls the father-of-one, who actually works as a security guard and had been left to man the front desk. “She seemed terrified. She was wearing a white bathrobe and her hair was tied up."

The trouble first kicked off at around 2.35am on October 3, when what appeared to be a group of cops came to the door of the Hôtel de Pourtalès.

"I saw the police uniforms, the hats, also the jackets with reflective badges, like the police have. All perfect. So I came to open it and just when I opened it, they grabbed me and handcuffed me," Abdulrahman says.

Despite his efforts to throw them off the scent by claiming not to know Kim, the father-of-one says they demanded to know which room "the wife of the rapper" was in, and was dragged "by the scruff of his neck" to her room to open the door with a spare key from reception.

"One got very angry… He repeated, never, never look at me, or I will kill you. I saw that two of them had guns… They were very violent, shaking me, making me lie down on the floor. It was very scary."

"I went up to the apartment with the robbers… I was in the room of Kim Kardashian. One was attacking her, the second one was with me. I saw Kim being pulled out of bed," he tells the Daily Mail.

Fearing for both their lives, he begged for mercy as Kim was attacked, bound and gagged.

"I told him, I ask you, don’t hurt her… He told me: Keep calm and all will be OK. Don’t move or make a sound.

"One of the gang kept telling her to shut up. I put my hand on her shoulder and told her to be calm. I said, you have to be silent, you know. She sat down on the bed. She asked me, are we going to die? I said, I don’t know, how can I know?

"She said, 'I have family and babies' I told her, 'Me too, I have one son' and she began to scream again. That’s why he put the tape on her mouth. A long piece of tape, all the way round her head."

Perhaps the most chilling part though, is Abdulrahman's recollection of the moment Kim realised she was in danger.

"She was in her bed. Before we opened the door, she heard a noise and began to say, hello? hello? I assume she thought it was her sister," says the conceirge, who's actual job title is 'security guard'.

"The intonation of her voice changed when there was no answer, I felt she was worried. After that, one of them opened the door... He attacked her, holding his gun in her face.

The horrifying situation only got worse when the crooks realised they couldn't speak English and Kim can't speak fluent French.

"She was so scared. She was crying and screaming, the men were shouting, and the fact that she couldn’t understand made him worse and more upset," says Abdulrahman.

"I put myself in the middle, between the thieves and Kim. I said wait, she can’t understand you. Then I played the interpreter of the scene."

The pair were only able to escape when Kim's bodyguard Pascal Duvier called her Blackberry, and Abdulrahman told them he and the police would be there in minutes if he didn't answer.

Realising they were about to get busted, the gang pushed him down the stairs of the hotel - where singer Robin Thicke was also saying and Jennifer Lawrence had been a guest just days before - and bolted.

Within minutes help arrived to cut both Abdulrahman and Kim free.

"I saw Kim a lot then," he says. "When she left, she hugged me and I told her, the most important thing is that we are safe and we are alive."

He now plans to return home to Algeria to see his wife and four-year-old son and to "repair himself psychologically".
