Kourtney blanks interviewer over Kim robbery question

TODAY’s David Campbell looked totally annoyed when his guest Kourtney Kardashian appeared to be “blanking” him after he asked about her sister’s recent robbery in Paris.

The awkward moment occurred when the reality star, who was on the program to promote manuka honey-based beauty products, was asked by the co-host how her sister is going after the incident.

Kourtney then started talking to staff behind-the-scenes before the interview cut out.

The 43-year-old co-host then hit out at Courtney after the interview suddenly ended.

“Hello Kourtney have we lost you?” he asked, as co-host Sonia Kruger added: “Alright. It looks like Kourtney doesn't really want to go there with that question.”

David adds: "I think she's totally blanking me on that question...She could just say her sister is fine!”

Kourtney then went back on the program to explain what happened and David was noticeably apologetic.

"Something happened in the studio and we sort of lost contact with Kourtney. We are happy to say she's still here," he explained.

"I'm sorry about what just happened there. Can we ask, first of all, is everything okay where you are right now?"

Kourtney explains: “Sorry, people were talking to me and the connection just went out."

She then went on to answer David’s question...

“I think we're all really still shaken up and I just - you know,” she says. “I think she has a big supportive family and I know that, like, all of the traumatic things that we've been through, we get through them together as a family and that’s what family is all about.”

The KUWTK star adds that her sister is “not doing great”.

This comes as Kim, according to a People source, has “zero desire in resuming her old lifestyle” and considers the attack as a “wake up call”

The mother-of-two has been described as “withdrawn” and “nervous” and has barely left her Bel Air mansion.

Meanwhile, Kris Jenner has spoken out in her first interview since Kim Kardashian's terrifying robbery in Paris, and from the sound of it, Kim's still struggling to cope.

"She’s just... it's a process," Kris said to E! News. "She’s... one day at a time. It's a process. What can I say?"

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and the rest of the family are rallying around Kim after the incident, which took place in Paris earlier this month.

Kris added: "I think it's just, you do what a mum does and you gather around, and you make sure she feels loved, and safe, and she's home, and that's all that matters. She wants to be with her kids, and family, and it's family first.

"You start looking at the world a little differently. When you have a daughter at home who's struggling because of something horrific and tragic that happened, you start looking around a little bit differently."

The 35-year-old star is planning on having a low key celebration when she turns 36 on October 21.

A source shared: "Kim's birthday is going to be a very quiet celebration this year. She has no plans on making a big bash. She will have an intimate birthday with her immediate family.

"She is not in any celebrating mood yet. Kanye [West] is trying to do whatever he can to make her feel better, but it's just the constant memories of the robbery that keep on messing with her. She just wants to be around her family at this time."

Her assistant Stephanie Sheppard also wrote: "Hey group, so you may have noticed we haven't updated the app in a couple weeks. Keeks is taking some much needed time off."
