Kim Kardashian use to travel the world, walk the streets alone dripping in diamonds and flaunt her ample assets on social media, but now that’s all in her past.

Since the Paris robbery incident on October 3, Kim has taken a big step back away from her former flashy lifestyle to focus on the safety of her and her family.

According to a People source, The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has “zero desire in resuming her old lifestyle” and considers the attack as a “wake up call”

The mother-of-two has been described as “withdrawn” and “nervous” and has barely left her Bel Air mansion.

“She just wants to be with her kids and out of public,” the source said.

Now her hubby Kanye is on his Saint Pablo tour, the 35-year-old has “only left her house for overnight visits with the kids to Kris’ and for important appointments.”

“On every solo outing, she uses a bodyguard. Before the robbery, she would enjoy solo outings. This has totally changed now,” the source said.

'Kim’s whole life has basically changed. Before, she was like a social butterfly. Now she acts much more withdrawn,' said the pal.

It seems the attack really took it out of the Selfish author and “is still having a difficult time” adjusting to her new life.

For someone who use to thrive in the spotlight, it’s unusual to hear that Kim “has no plans for any public appearances” anytime soon and “doesn’t want to be photographed.”

Kim will be turning 36 tomorrow on October 20 but will be having a “very low key” celebration with her immediate Klan.

According to The Sun Online, the brunette beauty cancelled her Las Vegas birthday party as the star was “not in the mood” and decided that her “family's security comes first.”

People’s source says “Kim is still figuring out what she wants to do,” but luckily “she has the best support from her family.”

Kris Jenner says her daughter “needs to take it one day at a time.”
