We need to talk about last night's Bachelorette...

Things got seriously awkward during the hometowns episode of The Bachelorette, when Georgia Love was forced to kick Courtney Dober to the curb.

Seriously, it was the most excruciating case of “he’s just not that into you” we’ve ever seen.

It all started with their snooze-inducing hometown visit in Sydney, in which the industrial designer was even more vague than usual.

“I'm sick of the ambiguity,” she said to camera before going on the clearly doomed date. “Today's make or break.”

On the date, the 28-year-old journo quizzed Courtney over whether or not he was keen to be her boyfriend after The Bachelorette, and he totally clammed up.

“I don't know,” he said while shaking his head.

“I can't tell you whether or not I see you and I being together in two years time and what not because I just can't - I can't think that far ahead.”

For the amateur daters out there, that’s a MASSIVE red flag.

“I'm just sitting there in shock,” Georgia later explained to camera. “I don't want to be with someone who doesn't want to be with me.”

Yep, we couldn’t really blame her for the brutal dumping that followed...

Georgia confronted the 30-year-old about his lack-lustre attitude like a total boss at the cocktail partied that followed.

“If you're asking me, ‘Do I think I can tell you that I love you at the end of this?’ I don't know,” Courtney told Georgia.

She then responded through tears: “I don't think it's enough... I can't keep doing it to myself.

“I need to be true to what I came in here for and what I wholeheartedly believe I can and will find at the end of this.

“So I don't really see...any point in having a Rose Ceremony tonight. I think you should go now.”

And here’s where it got super awks.

Instead of fighting for a way to tell Georgia to wait for him, he just stood up and walked out. Just like that.

Talk about a dealbreaker!

The Bachelorette continues next Wednesday and Thursday on Network Ten.
