Radio's Jo Stanley recalls night of passion with Rove
GOLD FM radio host Jo Stanley has revealed she and fellow radio star Rove McManus shared a night of passion in the 90s.
While speaking about Courtney's Thursday night exit on The Bachelorette with co-host Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann, Jo revealed she experienced a similar situation during her younger years.

“I had a very brief, one-night interlude ... with Rove McManus,” she told listeners.
“It was before he was on telly and we were all doing stand-up, back in the heyday, when your only worries were if you’d get a laugh that night …. And who you might spend the rest of the evening with.”
However things got awkward the morning after when Jo asked the comedian whether he wanted to exchange numbers to catch up again.
“I felt like would be the polite thing to do to exchange numbers, because that’s what you do right?” she added.
“So I’ve gone, ‘do you wanna exchange numbers?’ and he says, ‘Oh, nup’. And I can’t tell you how relieved I was! I was like ‘oh, thank god’ because I really didn’t want to pretend and I really, I just respected that. I was like, ‘yeah, good on you, I’m really happy with that honesty’."
Jo is happily married to Darren McFarlane and the couple have a daughter called Willow.
Meanwhile Rove went on to marry actress Tasma Walton and welcomed daughter Ruby two years ago.
