Diane Kruger hints 'cheating' caused Joshua Jackson split

Diane Kruger has hinted that 'cheating' played a part in her recent split from Joshua Jackson.

The actress uploaded a post about relationships to Instagram, prompting speculation that she's referencing her 10-year relationship with Josh.

"A relationship without trust is like having a phone with no service. And what do you do with a phone with no service? You play games," read the post.

Joshua, 38, and the 40-year-old actress called time on their relationship in July, when their rep told PEOPLE: "Diane Kruger and Josh Jackson have decided to separate and remain friends."

Last December, seven months before the couple called it quits, Diane was accused of cheating on her beau with her Sky co-star Norman Reedus.

They were aleegedly seen getting very hot and heavy in a bar in New York while Joshua was in the Phillippines.

However, Joshua's dad, John Carter, defended Diane, insisting his son would see the funny side in the reports.

"She was having a good time in the Village restaurant. [Josh] would probably chuckle," he said.

"Basically I think Diane was been a wonderful influence on Josh so I wouldn’t say anything bad about her."
