Celine Dion treats twin sons to Disneyland birthday trip
It’s been a tough year for Celine Dion, who lost both her husband, René Angélil, and brother, Daniel Dion, to cancer in the same week in January.
But the mother-of-three has been keeping her spirits high and treated her twin sons, Nelson and Eddy, to a Disneyland extravaganza over the weekend to celebrate their sixth birthday.
It’s the twins’ first birthday without their beloved father, René, since passing away from throat cancer at 73 earlier this year.
When Celine, son René-Charles, 15, and the twins arrived at the resort, they were quick to queue up for several rides.

The My Heart Will Go On hitmaker was all smiles on the King Arthur Carrousel with René-Charles, as it cruised up and down, around and around.
While two security guards dressed in regular clothes and a personal photographer loitered around, the 48-year-old hopped on the Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride with one of the twins.
She was then spotted on having a wild time on the Mad Tea Party ride with her hands up in the air and as the tea cup spun in circles.
For a change of pace, the whole crew then went on the Storybook Land Canal Boat ride and seemed to enjoy each others company as the boat floated down the man made river.
According to E! News, an eyewitness said: "Celine looked amazing. She was dressed in white khakis, a white tank top and an elegant, flowy shawl. Her hair was in a beautiful bun.”
"She blended right in. I wouldn't have guessed her out of the crowd", the eyewitness said.
The All By Myself singer reportedly “looked really relaxed and super happy,” during the theme park holiday.
"She was gracious and waved at people," the eyewitness added.
According to another E! News insider, Celine and the kids were having so much fun one day, they stayed until the park closed.
"They've been eating junk food non-stop like cupcakes, cookies, and candy," the source said.
It seems the family needed this little getaway, after grieving in private for months after René passed.
In March 2007, Celine and René took son René-Charles to Disneyland.
While the family continues to adjust to their new reality, Celine’s doing her best to stay strong for her kids.
“René always insisted the show must go on,” Celine once told People.
