Adam Lambert slams Iggy Azaela 'She doesn't know about singing'

Adam Lambert has slammed Iggy Azaela on radio, claiming "doesn’t really know anything about singing".

“I’ve found some sort of common ground with Iggy, we get along, but I’ve watched her and observed her with other people and she’s tricky — she’s a complicated girl,” he told 2Day FM breakfast hosts Rove McManus and Sam Frost.

“Maybe she’s threatened. She doesn’t really know anything about singing.”

Adam, 34, suggested Iggy’s expertise in rapping perhaps leaves her slightly disadvantaged on The X Factor.

“I mean let’s face it, no one’s rapping on the show at this point, so it’s like ‘uhhhh what is she going to say?’,” he said.

“I think she’s embarrassed that she doesn’t know anything about singing — so maybe she’s just defensive ... and Guy [Sebastian] and I are giving all this technical talk, so maybe she just feels threatened.”

Meanwhile when speaking to Nova 96.9 FM’s breakfast hosts Fitzy and Wippa during the publicity rounds, he said: “I see some of the shenanigans she pulls with other people and I’m like ‘Girl, pull it together!’ She’s such a diva”.

This isn’t the first time the Ghost Town singer has slammed Iggy, having recently labeled her a diva during an appearance on Sunrise.

"To totally be honest with you, I have no personal issue with Iggy. She and I have found some sort of common ground, but she is quite a diva," he told host Sam Armytage.

"She shows up late, you never know what you’re going to get with her, it’s never boring.”

The singer's comments come weeks after fellow judge Guy also publicly dissed Mullumbimby-raised Iggy.

Speaking on Sunrise last month, Guy addressed the pair's strained relationship on X Factor.

“We’re very different people, me and Iggy Azalea — I’m awesome and she’s not,” he joked.

“I don’t hate Iggy ... we clash. I don’t know what she’s thinking a lot of the time.”

He also was quick to reveal that Iggy had been turning up hours late on set during a recent radio interview.

“She’s just down the road in a nice hotel we’ve put her up in, just chilling and watching movies," he said.

Meanwhile Iggy has taken a dignified silence.

Yesterday morning, the Fancy rapper took a break from her show-stopping X Factor look to share a makeup free selfie with her Instagram fans.

The 26-year-old Australian rap artist was seen lying in bed for the closeup snap, in which her beautiful, barefaced complexion was on show for all to see.

‘#NoMakeupMondaysrelaxing before XFactor (sic),’ the musician captioned the image ahead of the Channel Seven reality show’s live episode tonight.

It wasn’t just Iggy’s makeup free face that fans got a glimpse of, as she also appeared to be topless in the bedroom photo. If you’ve got it, flaunt it girl.

She simply wrapped a white towel around her head, and let the image speak for itself.

Fans showed their support for Iggy’s candid snap, with one commenting: ‘You're beautiful without makeup you don't need any kind of surgery girl’.
