Keith Urban slams reports he and Nicole are headed for a split

Keith Urban confirms he and Nicole Kidman are stronger than ever, despite reports claiming the golden couple are heading to splitsville.

The Australian country singer appeared on Channel Nine’s The Today Show and said the rumours couldn’t be more far from the truth.

When reporter Richard WIlkins asked the 49-year-old if what the gossip magazines have been saying about the couple have merit, Keith just laughed and said: “No, it is total bulls**t.”

“You just roll with it. Most of that we don't even hear about, so - and ever since we have been married it comes and then it goes and then it comes and it goes.

“We get on with living our life and people make up the most insane crap. And you just kind of roll with it,” Keith admitted.

The Aussie A-listers got married in 2006 and share kids Sunday, 7 and Faith, 5.

While the Wasted Time hitmaker says he and Nicole just “roll with the rumours,” the outrageous lies do get under their skin because all the husband and wife wants to do is “live our life together.”

“The fact that we live somewhere where we are not being photographed all the time, the fact that we are not documenting every single thing that we do as a family, we are very private people, it makes you - it makes it possible for people to make up that stuff because you are not always there to defend it,” the multi-Grammy Award winner said.

“But then you get angry, ‘Like why do I have to defend this?’ The people who come and see us they don't read that stuff. It is gibberish,” the father-of-two said.

Currently in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on his ripCORD World Tour away from his golden girls who live on a farm in Nashville, Tennessee, Keith said a day doesn't go by without him and Nicole exchanging words.

“I call her in the encore every night. Every single night,” he revealed.

"I tell her hi and tell her how the show was.”

We very relieved to hear the couple are very much in love, despite the distance between them and what the magazines say!
