Miley finally stops crying to call for action to fight Trump

We thought that Miley Cyrus was never going to stop crying after she shared that emotional Donald Trump video to her Facebook yesterday.

But the 23-year-old singer seems to be in better spirits now, not to mention ready and raring to plug her Hopeful Hippies campaign in a new video.

Wow. That's quite the turnaround for someone who was inconsolable just a day ago.

"Many of us aren’t sure what to do after the election, but now more than ever it’s important for us to come together and take action to work for the America we want," she captioned the clip.

"That’s why we’re launching #HopefulHippies, and I’m asking you to get involved in your own community and make a commitment to the issues you care about, whether it’s donating, volunteering or showing your support! I’m starting off by pledging to education, and I’m excited Happy Hippie will now be supporting classroom projects and schools with DonorsChoose!!

"If you need ideas to get you started, check out HappyHippies.org to find local opportunities near you supporting the issues we care about. Share your pledge to take action in your community using #HopefulHippies. Can’t wait to see yours, I’ll be reposting some of my favorite ones! #strongertogether."

The election of Donald Trump as the 45th president of the United States of America came as a shock to many, but it was the pop singer herself who literally wouldn't stop crying.

In a weepy Facebook clip, the Wrecking Ball singer - who founded Happy Hippies Foundation supporting LGBTQ and homeless youth - opened up in a hysterical message about her post-election state of mind.

“[At] Happy Hippies—we adjust and we accept everyone for who they are,” she told her fans in the video.

"And so, Donald Trump, I accept you. And this hurts to say, but I even accept you as a president of the United States, and that’s fine.”

Miley reiterated her support for Democratic nominee, saying she still thinks Hillary deserves to become the first female president of the US- unlike the majority of voters.

“Maybe I really am different,” she said, breaking down.

“And that’s what makes me so sad… that I just wish that she had that opportunity, because she’s fought for so long.

"And because I believe her when she says she loves this country, this is all she’s ever done, she’s given her life to make it better.

"But like Donald Trump so ironically played after his speech, You Can’t Always Get What You Want."

The former Hannah Montana actress wrapped up with a plea, saying: “Please just treat people with love, and treat people with compassion, and treat people with respect, and I will do the same for you.

"f you want to open your mind and your heart, I would love to give you a key.

"Thank you so much. Thank you Hillary for inspiring all of us. I also want to say thank you President Obama for all that you've done for this country.”
