How Rove almost ruined Pink's pregnancy reveal

The internet went into meltdown mode over the weekend when Pink revealed she was pregnant with her second child.

But the only person who wasn't as surprised as the rest of us was 2DAY FM radio host Rove McManus. In fact, he's known since September!

What's more, the 42-year-old almost blabbed the news to his co-host Sam Frost (and the rest of Australia) during a recent segment on The Rove and Sam Show.

Good one, Rove!

Speaking about the baby news this morning on the Hit 104.1 radio show, Rove explained, "I mentioned during the show that someone could be pregnant and you wouldn't even know... and then in my head I was like 'Oh god what have you done?! You just told everybody!'”

Rove, who is friends with the singer, added that he first found out about Pink's happy news when he and wife Tasma Walton visited her back in September.

“We went out for lunch,” he explained. “And Taz was like, ‘We don’t have to leave the property if that’s a problem’. But Pink was like, ‘Nah, don’t worry about it.’

“We went into town, had lunch, picked Willow up from school… everybody’s seeing [the bump], but they’re all just good people and not saying anything.”

This will be Pink's second child with her husband Carey Hart, and a baby brother or sister to five-year-old Willow.

The star, who announced her pregnancy with a stunning snap of her and Willow on Saturday, previously gushed about her daughter, Willow.

She told Ellen DeGeneres: "I know everybody with kids says this - that their kid is their barometer of cool - but Willow tells me which songs of mine she likes and the way she does that is she just starts singing them after one listen."

The 37-year-old singer previously spoke about wanting to have another child but quipped being with her husband was like having a second child.

She said: "I feel like I have two kids right now, I would like a third. No, I want to say that Carey Hart is an awesome husband and a really good dad, but also like a second child."
