Zoe and Hamish hit back at 'sharenting' critics

Hamish Blake and wife Zoe Foster-Blake have hit back at critics who accused them of 'sharenting' when it comes to their two-year-old son over the weekend.

The radio personality and The Wrong Girl author sent a clear message that they couldn't be less bothered by the opinion piece by sharing another adorable family photo with their toddler Sonny!

"That feeling when you're innocently taking your family branch for a walk and a gang of giraffes jumps you," Hamish captioned the photo of their little family at the zoo.

And Zoe also took to social media over the weekend, sharing a photo of Sonny and the family's cat engaged in a deep conversation, writing "Ay. We're tawkin heyah" alongside the snap.

The proud parents regularly boast adorable photos of Sonny, however over the weekend News Corp columnist Angela Mollard accused them of invading their son's privacy by "over-sharing" on social media.

"What if “sharenting” seemed like a lovely, fun thing to do, but once you pulled the hood off, like the wolf in Little Red Riding Hood, you saw it was ugly and scary and damaging?" Angela wrote for Rendez View.

"We also don’t know if this first generation of social media kids are going to grow up and resent the invasion of their privacy. In years to come Sonny may be really cross that his parents showed off his tummy rolls and posted videos of his mispronounced words."

However, Zoe has previously addressed claims she shares too much, insisting that he's such a huge part of her life that he's bound to play a massive role in her online presence.

"I spend my life with this child; it would be weirder for me never to post a photo of him. And we are as sure as s**t not exploiting him," she told The Age.
