Paris Hilton passport dramas as she prepares for Aussie tour

Paris Hilton reportedly almost missed her Australia-bound flight yesterday because her passport was not valid.

The reality star apparently tried to board a flight from LAX for her promo tour, only to discover she wouldn’t be allowed to leave the US because her valid passport had not been packed.

However, a source tells Be that the star is now on her way, with the hotel heiress set to land in Oz in time for her perfume launches in Melbourne on Thursday and Friday.

Paris, 35, is also set to DJ at The Star's Marquee Nightclub on Saturday night as part of her Gold Rush DJ tour.

Just prior to leaving the airport, Paris uploaded a snap of her with Australian model Cheyenne Tozzi, captioned: “Taking off to Australia tonight. Can’t wait to see my Aussie bff”.

Cheyenne is also close pals with her sister, Nicky Hilton Rothschild. It's a small world!

The excited entrepreneur has also been sharing past adorable snaps of herself with Australian wildlife. Awww...

“Looks like someone is trying to escape from the zoo in my@ParisHiltonHandbags,” she captioned the cute snap below.

In a separate pic with a koala the heiress wrote: “I Love #Australia Can't wait to cuddle a #Koala.”
