Elsa Pataky on her low-key 'hippy' life with Chris in Byron Bay

They left the bright lights of Hollywood for a more laid back life on the NSW north coast.

And now Elsa Pataky has revealed how her life in Byron Bay with husband Chris Hemsworth has helped her embrace her inner 'hippy' after they relocated with their three children in late 2014.

"I love a mix of hippy, but [my style] touches on rock 'n' roll, with colours and prints," the 40-year-old actress told Vogue Australia.

"I always had it there, but coming here to Byron, it did come out a bit more to work with this lifestyle."

The Fast and The Furious star also revealed that her priorities have changed since moving to Byron saying, "I don't have time to fuss in the mirror for hours."

Since arriving in the quaint town, Elsa looks to be inspired by the bohemian style, often seen in colourful and flowing outfits.

But it would seem a laid back lifestyle suits Elsa, with the actress revealing husband Chris prefers her with a more natural look.

"Like most men, he likes me with no makeup," she recently told WHO magazine.

Elsa and Chris are proud parents to four-year-old daughter India Rose, and two-year-old twin sons Tristan and Sasha, with the hunky Thor star previously saying their children were the top priority when it came to leaving LA behind.

"It’s nice to have conversations with people and be a part of a community that doesn’t live and breathe that world," he said.

"We were living shoulder to shoulder in the suburbs and thought that’s not how we want our kids to grow up."
