Veronicas' Lisa called 'so skinny'

Despite hitting back at their body critics earlier this month, The Veronicas’ Jessica and Lisa Origliasso are still receiving social media comments about their appearances.

In a photo shared by Lisa over the weekend, the singer is seen showing off her small frame in a purple bikini, but some fans have expressed concern for the 31-year-old.

“You're so skinny this is not good for you (sic),” one Instagram user wrote in the comments section.

The video shows the brunette wearing a printed bikini top, teamed with a delicate gold pendant necklace.

Lisa chooses not to show her face in the brief social media clip, but reveals a glimpse of her delicate upper frame and slender arms.

Another Instagram user was more complimentary in their comment, penning: “Your body is goals”, while others were simply commenting on her picturesque location, Queensland’s Nightfall Camp.

It looks like Lisa is doing her best to take no notice of the online criticism, as she went on to share a full-length snap on Monday.

The image showed the media personality sporting a long-sleeved white crop top teamed with a colourful crochet skirt.

Earlier this month Lisa and her twin sister Jess hit back at haters who have criticised them about their weight.

"We are comfortable in our bodies, we know how healthy we are," Jess told The Daily Telegraph.

Lisa added: "We have been getting it for such a long time. You get tired of it."

The twins are no stranger to being skinny shamed over the years.

The musical duo have been forced to defend their thin frame to social media trolls who have accused them of battling eating disorders.

They took to Facebook to defend their body weight in an emotional post last year.

"I am familiar with being called sick," shared Jess.

She wrote that although she is skinny, she is "happy and healthy".

The singer also encouraged her fans to "treat their body like a temple" and to embrace the skin they're in.

"Everyone's body is different. I'll never be Kim Kardasidan. And I'll never be a 6ft super model," she wrote.

"Some people will never have my body type. But we're not meant to compare our power in this life to others' bodies. Our power lay in OUR choices. And I chose happiness, health, balance and integrity."
