She may have left the spotlight in October to focus on her family life but Kim Kardashian has proved 2017 is a new year for her after coming back to social media.

The 36-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has returned to Instagram and has relaunched her app with the sweetest family photo, shutting down rumours of any marital problems.

The reality star uploaded a picture of her with her husband Kanye West and their one-year-old son Saint West and three-year-old daughter North West, alongside the simple caption: "Family".

In the video Kim uploaded to her app, KimKardashianWest.com, she shares the most adorable moments from the past few months with her precious children, painting a picture of pure bliss.

The couple, who were thought to be having issues in their marriage, are seen cuddling and kissing in the short clip, firmly putting those rumours to rest.

During the two-minute clip, Kim is also seen at Christmas time smiling and laughing with her kids.

Saint West's first steps are also shown on the footage with Kim cheering in the background.

The media mogul has been laying low on social media since she was held at gunpoint in a hotel room in Paris in October last year and Kanye's mental breakdown one month later.

Last month, Kim made her first public appearance since her husband was hospitalised at a Christmas party with friends.

The mum-of-two looked in good spirits as she joined her mum, Kris Jenner, sister Kendall and her friend Maria Menounos at Shelli Azoff's Christmas bash.

Also at the party, held by the wife of music manager Irving Azoff, were Kate Hudson, Rita Wilson and Courteney Cox.

The party went down at the Forum at Inglewood, California, with Kim reportedly making a stealth exit.

The KUWTK star was seen jumping into a white sports car with pals after the shindig, hiding her face from the waiting paparazzi.
