How will Trump explain this tweet to the Queen?

It was announced on Friday that Queen Elizabeth II has invited US President Donald Trump to visit, but Trump might want to go back over his social media history before his royal meeting.

Back in 2012, Trump tweeted about Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (Kate Middleton), in reference to some topless paparazzi snaps of her while she was on holiday on a private island.

"Who wouldn't take Kate's picture and make lots of money if she does the nude sunbathing thing. Come on Kate!" he wrote at the time.

Fast forward just over five years, and Trump will have to face the music when he jets off to England.

But just how Mr President is going to explain his social media conduct to the Queen is yet to be seen, but it's expected to be awkward, to say the very least.

On Friday Trump and First Lady, Melania, accepted her majesty Queen Eliabeth II's invitation for a state visit.

British Prime Minister Theresa May announced the upcoming state dinner at a news conference in Washington during the first visit to the White House by a foreign leader since Trump's inauguration a week ago.

"The invitation is an indication at the strength and importance of the special relationship that exists between our two countries," May said.

She added: "And in a further sign of the importance of that relationship I have today been able to convey Her Majesty the Queen’s hope that President Trump and the first lady would pay a state visit to the United Kingdom later this year, and I’m delighted that the president has accepted that invitation".
