Jessica Mauboy has worked hard for her body, so it's little wonder she wanted to show it off when she hit the waves in Bondi.

Looking stunning in a pink one-piece swimsuit, the 27-year-old singer oozed confidence as she escaped the searing heatwave in the surf on February 10.

Looking happy and comfortable in her own skin, Jessica proudly showed off her body as she frolicked on the sands before going for a dip in the ocean.

The Secret Daughter star didn't seem to have a care in the world as she laughed and smiled during her beach outing, wearing her brunette tresses out and flaunting a clear, make-up free complexion behind a pair of sunglasses.

At one point she was seen shaking hands with some fans after they approached her in the water, before she jumped out, wrapping a pink towel around her before heading home.

Jess has previously shared her weight loss secrets after she dropped two dress sizes following her 2006 stint on Australian Idol, where then judge Kyle Sandilands famously told her to "lose the jelly belly" if she wanted a successful music career.

The singer followed an Atkins-like diet, favoured by the likes of Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Aniston, consisting of high-protein, low-carb meals to shed the kilos as well as tough workouts.

"Daily runs and weight-training and a clean diet of protein and vegetables," Jess told WHO magazine in 2014.

In a profile with Popsugar Australia two years ago, Jess gave fans an insight into her daily diet, saying she starts the day with a fresh smoothie with eggs and avocado, while lunching on a grilled chicken salad.

She added throughout the day she'll snack on a low-carb protein bar before opting for chicken or fish with vegetables at dinner.

However not one to stop herself from enjoying food, last year Jess shared a photo of herself to social media tucking into some pasta while on an Italian holiday.
