Maddy defends ex Kris after Tziporah attack

Model Maddy King has defended her ex-boyfriend Kris Smith, after Tziporah Malkah labelled him as "anti-Semitic" and a "chauvinist" during a heated exchange on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here earlier this week.

Speaking to Be on Wednesday, Maddy said: "Kris is a really kind and amazing guy. He is definitely neither of those comments".

After having dated on and off for four-and-a-half years, Maddy and Kris confirmed their split in October, though there's certainly no hard feelings on Maddy's end.

Taking to Instagram last week, the brunette shared a photo of her former lover in the South African jungle, along with the encouraging caption: "YES @krissmith13!! You definitely have the skills to win and deserve to @imacelebrityau Sending lots of love and luck your way (sic)".

Then again, Kris has told his jungle campmates that he has reconnected with an ex - so could it be Maddy?

During Tuesday night's episode of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, tensions reached boiling point between Kris and Tziporah.

It all began when a comment was made about snoring, with Tziporah taking offence, and saying: "Cruel, this camp is full of cruel people. I'm a target".

"You give as good as you get," Kris told the ex of Australian billionaire James Packer, before other celebrity campmates mentioned instances during which she has stirred the pot so to speak.

"Kris imagines I'm an evil person because he's an anti-Semite. He's a chauvinist as well," Tziporah then claimed.

She then followed the male model into the diary room, saying: "You enjoy throwing your big penis around?".

By this stage, Kris had had enough, responding: "I have zero desire to speak to you again after that".

"You don't say that to me and don't think it blows over in 20 minutes. It's a rude and selfish thing," he continued.

"No-one calls me anti-Semitic. You don't know nothing about my life or my family or my friends, and then you call me a chauvinist, no way, no way."

Kris' ex Maddy of course shares his sentiment, but also suggests Tziporah's statements were merely made in the heat of the moment.

"I don't think she truly meant it. It's tough in there for everyone," she told Be. "I think they probably just need some more food."
