RHOS claws are out!
We were hoping for drama, and the first episode of The Real Housewives of Sydney did not disappoint!
There was bitching, there was backstabbing and there was botox, with the fabulous ladies of the Sydney franchise dishing out to each other in the first catfight of the season and EVERYONE was involved!
Bondi resident Victoria seemingly starts the game of whispers at the start of the episode when she asks Nicole and Krissy whether it was Lisa's politician husband, David Oldfield, who was "shagging Pauline Hanson" before Victoria tells us that she "loves a bit of gossip" but not "nasty nasty gossip" just "who is screwing who".
These comments, of course, quickly get back to Lisa and fellow housewife Matty, who are casually chatting away while getting a few cosmetic touch-ups, when Nicole calls to invite them to her homecoming party.
I bet Pauline Hanson had no idea she was going to feature so heavily in the debut episode of Real Housewives of Sydney.
"Who wants to think about middle aged people having sex?" Lisa asks when she questions why Victoria was so interested.
"You're right Lisa" Matty agrees, before quickly asking whether or not David and his former political partner ever had sex.
However it's the fishnet cape wearing, "80 per cent vegan" AthenaX who really creates the drama!
Picking up Matty and Lisa for Nicole's harbourside party looking like a Logie Award, AthenaX tells the gals she shares a dear mutual friend with Victoria and who told her the Bondi local was a "fat little girl". Oh boy, the claws are definitely coming out.
Not to be outdone, Lisa tells AthenaX that Victoria called her a "cracker jack" and implied she was "quite mad and not in a good way".
AthenaX takes this as a compliment because "she's an artist" and if people don't think she's crazy then she must be boring. Each to their own.
But it's once we're at the party after Victoria, Krissy and Melissa arrive that the catfight really starts!
While spreading her spiritually to the group and giving Nicole "namaste", Krissy interrupts, wanting her own namaste because she thinks it's a yummy bread. AthenaX does not see the funny side.
Lisa confronts Victoria about her comments about David, Victoria confronts Nicole about ratting her out to Lisa, Matty tells Victoria that AthenaX said she was a fat little girl because she's about "empowering women". And starting drama it seems.
Krissy then confronts AthenaX, who then turns into the opposite of namaste and tells her to "butt out" and to "zip it up" and that she's a "Wookie". Like a Wookie from Star Wars, specifically, Chewbacca.
AthenaX tells the camera she was having an "out of body experience" during the confrontation but it's like more likely that after a couple of glasses of bubbly she worked up the courage to confront Krissy.

However it's Victoria who ends the fight, telling AthenaX she wants to try on her chic fishnet cape. But it's a trick! She doesn't want to try on the fishnet cape, she wants to get AthenaX back for the mean comments she said so she chucks the cape overboard.
Nicole knows her party is ruined and stands there, head in her hands.
Let's hope the rest of the season is this entertaining! The Real Housewives of Sydney screens 8:30pm Sundays on Foxtel’s Arena Channel.
