Where's Alex, Richie?

Richie Strahan has continued to fuel speculation that his relationship with Alex Nation is on the rocks with his latest solo Instagram post.

The reality star, who usually posts a slew of snaps with his Bachelor love, uploaded a shot of himself driving solo in a Mustang, with his arm stretched across the empty seat next to him.

"Sundays spent well" he captioned the snap, which was taken in his native Perth.

And immediately fans were commenting, asking where his girlfriend of less than a year was.

"Does anyone know if Alex and Richie still a couple? Doesn't look like it," wrote one, while another noted, "Missing someone under your arm though..."

Meanwhile, Alex has been busy doing her own thing, having Monday wine time with a friend.

Their separate social media updates come after the couple were spotted looking tense in Perth last month.

Alex was photographed looking like she'd been crying, trailing behind Richie after having what a source told NW magazine appeared to be a "huge fight".

"Poor Alex, she looked beside herself. Her eyes were red raw from crying but Richie just walked ahead of her and didn't try to comfort her," the unnamed source claimed.

At the time, reps for the couple denied there was trouble in paradise, insisting to the mag that "everything is perfect in their world."

It would certainly be a huge change of direction for the pair, who in January ignited whispers they were set to tie the knot by uploading a shot of Alex clad in an off-the-shoulder white gown as Richie swept her off her feet.

"Are you guys getting married????" one Instagram user commented.

"Looks like a wedding shot. Beautiful!" wrote another.

It certainly wasn't the first hint they'd dropped about a wedding being on the cards. Just last December Alex was seen browsing Moira Hughes couture bridal in Sydney's exclusive suburb of Paddington.

The single mother-of-one looked at ease during the outing, peering into the shop window and texting on her phone as she stood outside, however Richie was unfortunately nowhere to be seen.

A witness told Be that the bridal store "seemed to catch Alex's eye" as she strolled down the street.

"She looked in through the window before briefly entering," the source said.

"She spent about 10 minutes inside before coming out again."

And just weeks before that, the couple were also spotted looking at engagement rings, fuelling speculation that this latest snap means more than they’re letting on.

In November, the pair were seen at a Melbourne jewellers, where they closely studied a number of diamonds, chatting to each other as they inspected one particular sparkler.
