She's been hopeful she will find a future of happiness by starring on Married At First Sight, but just as Nadia Stamp has been looking forward, a blast from her past has surfaced.
The sassy brunette, who's been paired with Anthony Manton on the Channel Nine reality show, is no stranger to the camera, as an old showreel video reveals the reality star was once an aspiring presenter.
The clips shows Nadia interviewing locals at a suburban Adelaide shopping centre, before she heads out to the great outdoors and looks a far cry from her now more glamorous self.
"Check out Nadia's showreel! A professional Model and Presenter, Nadia shows her skills. Hosting Events, giving blood to Red Cross & traveling to unique parts of Australia," reads the media personality's caption underneath her video originally posted to Youtube in 2014.
While she hasn't spoken much about her presenting, fans are aware that Nadia has dabbled in some modelling in the past.
Earlier this month she spoke out about her struggles with body image over the years – including a battle with bulimia.
The Brisbane-based flight attendant revealed she became obsessed with her shape during her early modeling days.
“I remember struggling with my weight and I suffered from bulimia from the age of 18 to 21,” she told OK! magazine.
“It was really hard… I didn’t tell anyone about it at the time.”
Revealing she was criticised for being “too skinny” at some castings only to be told she was “too fat” at others, Nadia struggled to deal with the pressure of conforming to body image expectations.
“It was about being anorexic-looking and I was obsessed with rowing, so I struggled to do both,” she explained.
The 36-year-old revealed those days are now long gone, and she’s embraced a healthier attitude towards her body.
“I can’t remember the last time that I was concerned about what I ate or my size,” she told the publication.
Nadia’s revelations come after her on-screen husband Anthony was slammed for his comments about the brunette’s figure.
During a recent episode of the show, Anthony was seen picking a dress out for Nadia.
“Is this for someone with boobs?” Anthony asked. “Nadia doesn’t have the boobs for that.”
Needless to say, viewers were not impressed.
