Jane whips out her sex toy

Just when we thought Jane Fonda couldn't be more epic, the actress has pulled her sassiest move to date, and it involves a sex toy!

The 79-year-old leaves Ellen DeGeneres lost for words during her most recent appearance on the television presenter's talk show, as she whips out a vibrator in front of the Ellen studio audience.

Of course, it's all a part of some promo for her Netflix show Grace and Frankie, but the actress has the crowd cheering when she admits she did extensive "research" for her character Grace Hanson's new business venture.

"I decide we're going to go into a business of vibrators for older women. The directions have large print," she says of her character's plotline.

But instead of letting viewers leave the specifics of the sex toy all to their imagination, the star takes the liberty to pull out a bag which "happens to have one".

However host Ellen isn't quite prepared for things to get too frisky during her daytime show, and quickly grabs the bag from the actress.

"Wait, wait. I have to look at it first because this is daytime. I don't know if we can show it," she says, before taking one look and stating, "I cannot show that".

But there's no stopping Fonda, who cheekily pulls the bright purple vibrator out of its box and briefly waves it around before putting it back.

"Anyway, you'll see this lights up and then this is very pliable," she then explains to Ellen about the toy's technical features.

Ellen then takes the opportunity to ask Jane just how familiar she's been with such objects before filming this role.

"Actors, if you're going to do it, you're going to have to really... we've tried all different kinds of vibrators," Jane responds, totally admitting she's done her research.

"Use it or lose it right?" she adds.

Ellen then asks, "So really before you research, was this something you knew about... and used?"

"Yes," the actress says with no hesitation whatsoever, before dropping a tale about a necklace she wears featuring a vibrator pendant, handy for a frisky restaurant visit.
