MAFS' Nadia faces backlash

Married At First Sight star Nadia Stamp only hopes to live her happily ever after with TV husband Anthony, but it looks like the rest of Australia doesn't necessarily agree with her.

The 37-year-old brunette has faced a wave of social media backlash after she chose to stay with Anthony Manton during Sunday night's episode, despite the pair's ups and downs during the Channel Nine series.

"Seriously Nadia? Wake the f*** up!" one fan tweeted, while another called her a "fool" for taking back the man who called her "frigid" on the show.

Viewers couldn't hide their disappointment, with another penning: "Absolutely stunned that Nadia from MAFS stayed with Anthony, she is way too good for him and she doesn't even realize her self worth".

Some believed Nadia was too blinded by the reality television experience to see Anthony for who he really is.

"Nadia foolishly cannot see that Anthony is nothing more than a spoilt male chauvinist bully (sic)," a fan wrote.

Earlier in the series, Anthony raised eyebrows when he told his television wife, “For lack of a better word, you've been frigid".

But while Nadia had her doubts over the weeks, she eventually chose to give the pair's relationship a good hot go beyond the show.

In fact the model is already talking wedding plans.

"We'd go to Tuscany [in Italy] and renew our vows and do it properly and official," she has told TV Week magazine.

And starting a family also seems to be on her mind, as she has added: "I think it would be beautiful to have the opportunity to be a mother".
