Elsa spills on 'dream' marriage to Chris
Chris Hemsworth's wife Elsa Pataky says she is happy she can give her family the lifestyle she 'always dreamed' of when she was growing up.
The Spanish-born actress told People magazine that her husband and three children, India Rose, 4, and three-year-old twin boys Tristan and Sasha, adore living in Byron Bay on NSW's north coast.
“We love it. We live there now and it’s a long trip, but I think it’s a different life for our kids that we decided is the best for them,” the 40-year-old Fate Of The Furious star told the publication.
Speaking at world premiere of the new film in New York City on Saturday, Elsa said she relishes spending time outdoors with her family.
“[My kids] live in nature surrounded by animals. That was my dream growing up.
"I grew up in a city, and I always had the dream to be with animals, surrounded with nature, close to the beach,” the Spanish-born actress added.
“So I thought that would be the best we could give to our family and our kids."
Chris, 33, was born in Melbourne and played Kim Hyde in Home and Away before setting his sights on the brights lights of Hollywood.
He met Elsa in 2010 and they married in December the same year.
