WATCH: Jenna recalls awkward first night with Channing

They’re one of the cutest celeb couples around, so the first night Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum spent together would have been as smokin’ as they are, right?

Wrong!

Jenna has opened up about that fateful evening in an interview with Ellen, and it sounds like it was more hilarious than hot. Check it out above!

The 36-year-old visited The Ellen Show and recalled hooking up with her husband for the first time during filming for Step Up in 2005.

After initially giving him an ultimatum and saying she wanted a relationship and not a “hang out” arrangement, Channing took three days to make a decision.

So he turned up at her door after a “wild tequila night”, as you do!

"He said he had the 'chance to be free' and he couldn't stop thinking about me," a laughing Jenna told the TV host. "He’s going to kill me for this…he has [on] underwear, a sombrero and Ugg boots, and he’s like, ‘Let’s do this’!”

Of course, Jenna couldn’t say no to that. She’s only human, after all!

The next morning, things got a little awkward on set when the crew couldn’t find Channing in his own room.

“I called an [assistant] over and was like “He’s in my room,” Jenna giggles. “He comes to set and everyone [applauded].”

Despite the rather cringey beginnings, the couple have been together ever since – tying the knot in 2009 and becoming parents to daughter Everly in 2013.
