Aussie blokes are desperate to be on the Bachelorette

Men are already lining up for their chance to win the heart of Sophie Monk, who this week was revealed to be the next Bachelorette.

With the casting process for the reality series about to kick off, a source told The Daily Telegraph that producers have been 'inundated' with inquiries from potential suitors.

The insider also told the publication that "the age bracket for potential love interests has been widened".

According to the source, "They are looking at appealing to perhaps men who are more established, know what they are looking for, as well as single dads."

However, Sophie is apparently open to a younger man as well, and the lower end of the range is 25.

“Age and type is not a limitation when it comes to finding love," the insider told the publication.

And its not just love she's after. The 37-year old opened up in an interview to News Corp saying, "I definitely want a family and I want someone that wants children too."

The reality star admits it can be lonely living up on the Gold Coast, and that she needs her "three cats" to keep her company.

Sophie also admitted to Who that she would have already been "married with four kids" if it wasn't for the industry, and that her previous approaches haven't been exactly authentic, which could have jeopardised her shot at real love.

Speaking with to 2DAY FM back in 2014 the blonde beauty said, "I'm a fraud, "At the beginning, I listen to certain music that they'll like, I pretend that I wear pyjamas to bed that are matching, I brush my teeth before I go to bed and I pretend my house is really tidy, and as they get to know me, they go "who is this woman?".

Sophie is taking a different path this time round as she appears opened minded and genuine in her approach.

“I'm in the public eye, but away from that I’m just a regular woman and I’m open to committing fully to finding love on The Bachelorette Australia. After life experience with some of the wrong men, what I want to find above all else is a man who is kind and genuine.” she told Channel Ten.

Well boys, will you accept her rose?
