Ange 'regrets' how she treated Brad

The world was shocked when Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt announced their split in September last year.

And apparently we weren’t the only ones, with a new report claiming that Brad, 53, was stunned when Ange filed for divorce.

"He feels like his life fell apart in one day,” a friend of the pair told E! News of the breakup.

Another insider told the outlet that “Brad is…upset still. He blames Angie for how public everything became. He knows that eventually it is best to forgive her and be on good terms for the sake of the children, but he feels let down in a way he never thought was possible.

"He saw a different side of her and he can't forget. The way everything went down has been beyond comprehension."

And as the stars work through their issues, the ex-couple’s friend claims that 41-year-old Ange wants to make amends for the way she behaved at the time.

“Angelina regrets the way she handled certain things and wants to be at peace with Brad," the pal told E! News.

The new claims come after Ange splashed out $19 million USD on a mansion in the LA community of Los Feliz, which is the same area Brad lives.

The actress is also encouraging the couple’s two eldest sons, Maddox, 15, and Pax, 13, to “forgive” their father after they held onto anger after the split.

All six kids have had sleepovers at their dad’s place in recent weeks, with In Touch reporting that Brad is "thrilled" by the breakthrough.
