Alex and Richie's 'secret split'

They fell in love on last year's season of The Bachelor, however reality stars Alex Nation and Richie Strahan have reportedly hit the rocks.

After months of absence from each other's Instagram accounts and a very public fight, NW magazine claims that the couple have secretly split up!

At last week's 2017 Logies, the pair looked strained and apparently hurried down the red carpet in an effort to avoid questions from the media.

And a friend tells NW that the appearance at the glitzy awards night was just for show. The source told the publication that before the event Alex had been "bawling her eyes out" to Bachelorette Georgia Love, 27, revealing that her and Richie have broken up.

"She was heartbroken and freaking out about all the scrutiny," claims the pal.

"Alex is going through a really tough time right now," the friend added. "She really thought that the relationship was going to work, she introduced him to [her son] Elijah and everything."

The claims come after Alex, 25, was snapped in public looking teary-eyed in March after what appeared to be a public fight with her boyfriend.

The pics show an unhappy-looking Alex trailing behind Richie, 32, after the pair allegedly got into a heated argument on a Perth street.

The mother-of-one looked visibly upset as she walked behind her partner of less than a year.

Meanwhile Richie, who wasn't photographed comforting his girlfriend, keeps a stern face.

At one point, Alex hid her eyes behind a pair of dark sunglasses, and kept her distance from Richie.
