Ed Sheeran finally confirms Aussie tour

After dropping some pretty major hints, Frontier Touring and Ed Sheeran have confirmed the UK singer will tour Australia and New Zealand in support of his Divide album.

But Ed’s fans will have to wait until March 2018 to see their ginger prince in the flesh!

The 26-year-old will kick things off in Perth on March 3, and wrap things up in NZ’s Dunedin on March 28.

“He’s bringing out a gigantic production with screens and all sorts of things,” The Herald Sun quoted promoter Michael Gudinski as saying.

“But it’s incredible as a one-man show he’s got such a rapport with his audience and he can handle playing a stadium by himself.”

Ed has insisted that ticket prices are capped at $165, as well as offering cheaper $70 and $100 options for cash-strapped fans.

March 3: Perth Stadium, Perth
March 7: Adelaide Oval, Adelaide
March 10: Etihad Stadium, Melbourne
March 16: ANZ Stadium, Sydney
March 20: Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane
March 24: Mt Smart Stadium, Auckland
March 28: Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin
