Are Kim and Kanye calling it quits?

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have had a tough time recently, and now it's been reported that the couple are calling it quits.

And with their wedding anniversary fast approaching next week, it seems the A-list couple might not see another one.

Between Kim's Paris robbery and Kanye's mental breakdown last year, things have been tough for the stars, and a family insider tells NW that although they were desperate to make it work, they just can't fake it anymore.

"She's had these papers drawn up for a long time, since well before Kanye's mental breakdown in November," the source told the publication.

"Things between them really weren't great and she was preparing to end it."

NW claims that Kim has already spoken to her divorce lawyer Laura Wasser to start the legal proceedings.

The insider added that Kanye has left Kim to shoulder a lot of the family's responsibilities, including the running of their new children's clothing line The Kids Supply.

And with Kanye recently deleting his Instagram account and not showing up to the Met Gala with his wife, it seems there really could be trouble in paradise. Or should we say, Calabasas!

"It was very hard for her to go to the Met and put on a happy face when things are crumbling around her." admitted the friend.

However the publication reports that momager Kris doesn't want Kim to give up just yet, as she wants to use Kim's marital problems to lift up ratings for Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

The source continues, "He's [Kanye] lost all his credibility and status and I'm is convinced it's going to tank her stock too. She feels like she has no choice but to walk away before this marriage destroys her."
