Amber Heard's boozy night on the Gold Coast

Amber Heard has much of 2017 year filming for the new movie Aquaman alongside actor Jason Momoa in the land Down Under.

She was seen last month dancing the streets of Byron Bay taking a break from filming, blending right in with the locals and enjoying her downtime.

And now the 31-year-old has been blowing off steam while partying at the Sin City nightclub in Surfers Paradise.

Amber took Saturday night off to dance the night away and according to The Gold Coast Bulletin, Johnny Depp's ex-wife drank red wine exclusively and didn't leave the nightclub until 3:30am!

Sin City host Ric Gibson opened up to the outlet and said Amber's taste for red wine is the result of her former marriage to Depp.

"Her PR person said she only does red wine because when she was with Johnny Depp that was all he drank," he told the publication.

Ric continued: "It’s not something we serve on a regular basis so it's lucky we had some in the cellar."

He was lucky enough to score a cheeky snap with the starlet during the night, and said he was surprised how down-to-earth she was given she's an A-lister!

"I thought she would be stuck up given the status she has but she was very down to earth, very funny and stunning as well," he confessed.

Meanwhile she shared a pic of herself on Tuesday to her Instagram with the aftermath of the big night, as she posed with her hand over her mouth in shock, sporting bed hair and looking at red wine-stained white chairs.

Amber captioned the post: "The next morning."

But fans were quick to find the amusement of the pic with one follower saying, "Ouch, hope you had fun," and another posting, "Happens to the best of us."

Amber will be calling Australia home for as long as six months.
