Hugh Jackman's touching Manchester tribute

Australian actor Hugh Jackman has shared a tribute video dedicated to his family friend Lucy Jarvis, who was affected by the tragic Manchester terror attacks that took place last month at an Ariana Grande concert.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the 48-year-old movie star posted a short clip, in which he hoped for a speedy recovery for Lucy, who is in a coma, and shared his sympathy for all victims and their families.

"So a friend of ours from growing up have a good friend in Lucy Jarvis and the Jarvis family from Wigan in the UK," the Wolverine star said in the video.

"Lucy was at the Ariana Grande concert and is still in a coma.

"We just wanted to say to the entire Jarvis family, in fact to all the victims families and the victims, we are sending all our love and sending all our prayers to you.

"For not only a speedy recovery but also for all the difficulties you will face ahead," the actor continued.

"Sending lots of love," he said at the end of the clip, before placing a hand on his heart.

Last week Ariana Grande took to the stage for the first time since the Manchester terror attacks, thanking over 50,000 fans for their "love and unity".

The 23-year-old to the city after a suicide bomber killed 22 people and left 116 injuried outside her concert on May 22.
