Orlando’s mum sent his 'glowing' CV to critics
He’s a Hollywood A-lister who is reportedly worth $35 million, but that doesn’t make Orlando Bloom immune from the actions of an embarrassing mum.
According to Woman’s Day magazine, Sonia Copeland-Bloom took #proudmama behaviour to new heights when she fiercely leapt to her son’s defence and left him cringing.
Following a string of less-than-favourable reviews in the British press, 75-year-old Sonia is said to have sent copies of The Pirates of the Caribbean star’s most “up-to-date and 100 per cent accurate” resume to every national newspaper in the UK.
The "glowing" four-page document compiled by his loving mum apparently detailed all of Orlando’s successes, from high-profile movie credentials to humanitarian work and his lesser-known school achievements.
It’s not the first time Sonia – also grandma to Flynn, Bloom’s six-year-old son with ex-wife Miranda Kerr – has stood up for her beloved boy.
In May, she reportedly wrote to her local newspaper when Orlando hit the headlines for describing himself as a “pikey” during a radio interview.

The racially-charged comment received a strong backlash, but Sonia once again sung her son’s praises, describing him as “friendly, courteous and respectful.”
Aww. We hope it doesn't take Orlando too long to forgive her blush-worthy behaviour. We think it's rather cute!
