Kim slammed for 'blackface'

There's no denying Kim Kardashian knows how to get people talking, although this time it's for all the wrong reasons.

Fans have slammed the reality star for seemingly darkening her skin and accusing her of "blackface" in a promotional shot for her new cosmetics line KKW Beauty.

Sharing the photo of herself to her social media platforms, fans on Instagram and Twitter called out Kim for the photo.

While the photo originally appeared on Twitter, the 36-year-old deleted her initial tweet, before uploading it once more the platform and Instagram.

"you black now sis?" Twitter user @pettyyonceh responded to the star, while another user @seniWnitsuA wrote: "Black women get told to lighten meanwhile Kim spends her entire career in perpetual Black face and is lauded for her beauty."

Otherwise were also quick to hit back at those suggesting Kim's complexion was due to shadow.

"She's never looked this dark in her life please don't start with 'it's a shadow,'" @kokwandu98 wrote while @RealJasminLeigh added: "I love Kim but that's def black face in the form of makeup she is no where near that dark."

Kim is yet to address the accusations.
