Caitlyn Jenner slammed for 'shooting' joke

Caitlyn Jenner is facing a wave of backlash after making a joke about that "Liberals can’t even shoot straight" following the gunfire that took place near Washington last week, that left several Republican members of Congress injured.

The 67-year-old, who is a supporter of President Donald Trump, was asked about the incident while at a convention of the College Republican National Committee on Friday.

"First of all, nobody deserves what happened out there," she said, when asked about the shooting.

"There’s no justification for such an attack," she contined.

"There are crazy people in the world. ... We have to minimise that type of stuff.

"As far as the people that were injured, it’s an absolute shame. You just want them to recover. Fortunately, the guy was a really bad shot. Liberals can’t even shoot straight."

It didn't take long for social media to react.

"OMG. This is Disgusting. Absolutely shameful. @Caitlyn_Jenner," Will & Grace star Debra Messing wrote on Twitter. See more reactions below.
