Hilary Duff’s ex has rape charges dropped

Hilary Duff's ex-hubby Mike Comrie was the centre of a consent scandal following claims made by a woman that he "raped her multiple times".

The pair, who share a son Luca, will no doubt both feel relieved after prosecutors dropped the case because of a lack of evidence.

According to reports on TMZ Sport, investigators said there was “reasonable doubt” to the claims made by the woman in February this year.

The 36-year-old former NHL star Mike had admitted he had sex with the woman that he met in a bar in L.A, but said it was consensual.

Hilary and Mike met in 2007 and married three years later, before having their son Luca in 2013.

After parting ways, Hilary requested primary custody of their now four-year-old son.

Since the allegations were made, Mike and Hilary have been seen together multiple times with Luca in what was seen as a show of support from the Younger actress.
