Boy George vs Seal: round two!
It’s getting close to the finals and the competition is certainly heating up on The Voice causing the judges to be getting more catty than usual.
Seal was fiercely proud of his own contestant Rennie on last night’s show labelling him “Australia’s next global music superstar" but he did not seem to reciprocate the praise to the competition.
Many called out the 54-year-old judge for his unfair criticism on Boy George’s contestant, Sarah Stone.
Host Sonia Kruger asked Seal: “After that performance, is Sarah looking like the strongest female voice in the competition?”
The judge then came out all guns blazing attacking Lorde’s critically acclaimed song "Green Light".
Seal bluntly said: “The strongest female voice in the competition? No.”
“Look, Sarah, I really like you – I’ve told you that off set,” Seal continued. “I think you made the most of a not particularly good song. I’m not a big fan. I couldn’t sing that song because it wouldn’t inspire me, but I thought you did great.”
Boy George was not going to sit back and let his contestant take the wrath of Seal.
He criticised his co-star: “Well she sang it better than Seal!”
Referring to himself in third person, the singer hit back saying: “Perhaps, because Seal doesn’t sing bad songs.”
Many viewers also seemed to agree with Boy George:
If Seal must do his panto villain thing with @BoyGeorge that's fine but Lorde's Green Light is not a "bad song" mate #TheVoiceAU

Seal called 'Green Light' a "bad song". Yes, SEAL (who has no Top 10 hit since 1994) called Lorde's Green Light uninspired. Wow. #thevoiceau

The 56-year-old Brit then labelled Seal “b**chy” later in the show.
Does this mean the feud has been reignited?!
Speaking on Today Extra, Delta Goodrem called Sunday’s show was a “firecracker”.

She brushed off both British judges’ behaviour saying it was just “all in good fun”.
Hmm. We’re not quite sure about that, Delta!
