Eminem shocks fans with a new look

Guess who’s back with a brand new… look?!

Rapper Eminem has set the Internet alight after stepping out in L.A last week sporting a beard.

Shocked fans had to do a double take when he shared a photo on social media rocking a thick five o’clock shadow, with many saying the well known artist he was almost unrecognisable.

“Will the real Slim Shady please stand up,” one confused fan wrote.

Another said: “That beard makes you look so different.”

Eminem – whose real name is Marshall Mathers – has had the same peroxide blonde buzz cut and clean-shaven look since he achieved fame in the late 90’s.

The chart-topper was at the premiere of Dr Dre and Jimmy Lovine’s documentary series The Defiant One’s when his followers started commenting on his more "mature" appearance.

After the photo that Eminem captioned “Just a couple of guys from Compton and one from Detroit. With a beard” racked up over 998,000 likes on Instagram and earned him his own hashtag #eminemsbeard, his rap group D12 couldn’t resist cheekily poking fun at him with this spoof single cover:
