"It was very difficult. My dad, he kept me extremely strong and kept me grounded and humble. But having your mom cry every day for something that you know you didn’t do."

The three-part interview will air on the network in the coming days. Watch the video above.

DeMario found himself in the centre of allegations earlier this month, after Corinne claimed she was too drunk to give consent to a reported swimming pool hook-up with the Bachelorette reject that occurred during filming of the fourth season of the Bachelor spin-off. She also claimed she did not remember the encounter and was only told of what happened the following day.

The 30-year-old also revealed to Inside Edition that the allegations had even lead him to lose his job as an executive recruiter in Southern California.

Filming has since resumed after Warner Bros. released a statement last week discussing their investigation into the alleged incident.

“As we previously stated, we recently became aware of allegations regarding an incident on the set of Bachelor in Paradise in Mexico. We take all such allegations seriously,” the statement read. “The safety, security and well-being of the cast and crew is our number one concern, and we suspended filming so that the allegations could be investigated immediately and thoroughly.”

Warner Bros. said they found no such incident took place between Corinne and DeMario. “Our internal investigation, conducted with the assistance of an outside law firm, has now been completed,” the studio’s statement continued. “Out of respect for the privacy interests of those involved, we do not intend to release the videotape of the incident.

“We can say, however, that the tape does not support any charge of misconduct by a cast member. Nor does the tape show, contrary to many press reports, that the safety of any cast member was ever in jeopardy.”

The studio confirmed production of the series would continue, after being shut down immediately after the allegations first surfaced.

“Production on this season of Bachelor in Paradise will be resuming, and we plan to implement certain changes to the show’s policies and procedures to enhance and further ensure the safety and security of all participants.”
