Britney slams lip-syncing accusations
Britney’s Spears has finally hit back at those lip-syncing accusations.
The 35-year-old "Womanizer" singer, who has held a Las Vegas residency for four years, has been tight-lipped about the claims in the past.
But when asked how much she relies on her backing tracks by an Israeli TV station ahead of her first-ever performance in Tel Aviv, the mum-of-two didn’t hold back.
“A lot of people think that I don’t sing live,” Britney told the show. “It really pisses me off.”
She went on to explain that while there is a “little bit of playback” she is most definitely singing as well.
“I am busting my ass out there and singing at the same time and nobody ever really gives me credit for it,” she told the reporter.

While Britney is known for her show-stopping performances (she famously took to the stage during the 2011 VMA awards with a giant an albino Burmese python casually draped around her shoulders!) she has been plagued with miming accusations throughout her career.
Earlier this month, a recording of Brit singing "Toxic" without auto-tune was leaked leaving fans and critics surprised by how great it was.
