Adele hints she’ll never tour again in heartfelt note to fans

Her songs are known for breaking people’s hearts and it turns out Adele might just be able to do that without singing.

The Sun previously reported that the 29-year-old is ready to give up touring forever and Adele herself confirmed this, sort of, in a handwritten note in the program for the final concerts of her current tour, at Wembley Stadium in London.

The heartfelt message read: “So this is it after 15 months on the road and 18 months of 25 we are at the end. Touring is a peculiar thing, it doesn’t suit me particularly well. I’m a real homebody and I get so much joy in the small things. Plus, I’m dramatic and have a terrible history of touring. Until now that is!”

“I’ve done 119 shows and these last 4 will take me up to 123, it has been hard but an absolute thrill and pleasure to have done. I only ever did this tour for you and to hopefully have an impact on you the way that some of my favourite artists have had on me live.”

Then she literally breaks our hearts in half with one sentence: “And I wanted my final shows to be in London because I don’t know if I’ll ever tour again and so I want my last time to be at home.” Noooo!

Adele finishes her wholehearted message writing: “Thank you for coming, for all of your ridiculous love and kindness. I will remember all of this for the rest of my life. Love you. Goodnight for now.”

The Grammy award-winning singer also encouraged concert-goers to donate to the victims of the fire which took place at Grenfell Tower block in London two weeks ago.

The Sun also reported how Adele had told fans at the concert she really couldn’t wait for her world tour to be over.

“It’s been amazing but it’s been really f***ing hard work,” she admitted.

She joked how all she really wants to do right now is “eat takeaways and drink white wine.”

After she finishes off her final shows in London, Adele said: “I’m gonna smoke some fags, I’m gonna have some whiskey. I can’t f***ing wait.”
