Emilia Clarke drops massive GoT spoiler

However if you're wondering whether Daenerys Targaryen makes it out alive, wonder no more, with actress Emilia Clarke dropping some major spoilers about her character.

Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, the 30-year-old actress said fans need not worry about Daenerys' fate and that she won't suffer the same unfortunate demise like many of the other popular characters have!

"I have no doubt there'll be prequels and sequels and who knows what else. But I am doing one more season. And then that'll be it," Emilia told the publication.

HBO have confirmed that after the upcoming seventh season, there will only be one more to follow, ending the hit saga based on George RR Martin's fantasy novels.

Emilia also confirmed that Daenerys will at last return to Westeros to try and take her rightful place on the Iron Throne.

"Spoiler alert – I normally don't spend very much time in Belfast, but this last season I spent a little more time there," she revealed.

Westeros is filmed in Northern Ireland, with Emilia spending a vast majority of her time filming in Morocco, which is the location for the eighboring continent Essos in the series.

The London-born actress continued to spill the beans, saying the upcoming series is "a really interesting season in terms of some loose ends that have been tied, some really satisfying plot points, some things where you're like, 'Oh, my God. I forgot about that!'"

"Rumors are going to be confirmed or denied," she teased.

Game of Thrones returns on July 16.
